Jon Bellion is a New York native singer, songwriter, rapper, and record producer. He is known for his four mixtapes and for his collaboration with Zedd, Eminem, and Rihanna. Something new that I learned was that he actually wrote the chorus for "The Monster" by Rihanna and Eminem. Jon Bellion falls under the category of hip hop, R&B, indie rock, and indie pop. His music career began in 2011 with his first mixtape release and his fame has skyrocketed since then. He is very well known for his 2015 released single "All Time Low" and after that he went on tour with many shows selling out. Check out the video below to see how talented this artist really is.

The Generationals are one of my new favorite bands, their style is very upbeat and happy. Listen to this song at the start of your day and I guarantee you will be in a happy mood. The best part about indie music is that it makes you want to dance.

By the title of this article, it appears I will be explaining what the definition of indie pop is. I apologize for the misleading title. It fits the subject matter and my goal of helping you understand Indie Pop. I wish I could explain indie music, but in all honesty, it is something I will never fully understand.
